Hi,
I am currently unemployed. I have skills in food preparation, cooking, and nutrition. I am looking to help anyone who needs a cook at home to make meals and help teach them about nutrition. I can go shopping for them and prepare meals. I am willing to do any hours of the day. I live in Ashland Oregon. I am highly motivated in wanting to teach others about nutrition and healthy foods they can prepare for themselves on a daily basis. I charge between $12 and $15 and hour.
My number is 1-541-324-6741
Call and leave a message when I can get back to you.
blessings,
Joseph

KS Wild is seeking a self-motivated and articulate individual to join a team of 3-4 people traveling to Mt. Shasta City for two 3 day stints of door to door canvassing, starting next week.

The job would involve a two hour training on canvassing 101 and the issues most important to KS Wild next Monday afternoon, the 22nd. Then canvassing would occur on tues, wed and thurs nights that week and the next. We will provide canvassing routes and a canvassing book of materials.

You would be paid minimum wage ($8.40/hr) for the afternoon training and for the time spent canvassing and tabling. You also get to keep 30% of what you bring in canvassing. We will arrange for tabling to occur at the natural food store during the day, with just two folks needed at a time there. Mileage compensation is also included.

We also have a supporter who may be able to host the team while in Shasta, but are looking to confirm that for these dates.

We need to find the right person ASAP, because the timeframe is tight!

E-mail laurel@kswild.org with a description of yourself and why you think you are the right person for this job, and I will get back to you promptly. We need folks who work well with others but who also are comfortable and competent working independently and who we feel confident can represent our organization to the public.

Thanks so much! Laurel

Food - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Food is any substance, usually composed of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and water, that can be eaten or drunk by an animal, including humans, for nutrition or pleasure. Items considered food may be sourced from plants, animals or other categories such as fungus or fermented products like alcohol. Although many human cultures sought food items through hunting and gathering, today most cultures use farming, ranching, and fishing, with hunting, foraging and other methods of a local nature included but playing a minor role.

Understand Consciousness, Part II: Foods | NaturalNews

As talked about in "Understanding Consciousness" part 1, a large part of our consciousness comes from our thoughts and thought patterns. But a large part of our consciousness also comes from what we put inside our bodies. The foods we eat literally affect our consciousness and probably more than most realize.

Take GM Corn off the Shelves! - The Petition Site | Care2

The shelves of our grocery stores are filled with genetically-modified (GM) vegetables, also known as Frankenfood. But what's scariest about Frankenfood is not simply that scientists are manipulating DNA, but that they are not testing it before the food is sold to the public to be consumed!
