The Svalbard Global Seed Vault, or the Doomsday Vault as the media have nicknamed it, was officially opened on February 26, 2008, to serve as the ultimate safety net for one of the world’s most important natural resources.
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in your food may make you sick. Warnings by FDA scientists were ignored.
The grower, the person who makes it happen, and allows us to put it on our table, onto our plates... and eat it. Hats off to the grower.. the man! For this man takes a path less travelled, and faces challenges to his work, that might be easily overcome should he choose the chemicalised methodologies.
The Village Farm was born out of being close to the land and knowing
the value that this connection has on human lives. Our farming model is
different as we offer many opportunities for our members and community to connect with their food and the land on which it grows.

Johnny is giving a tutorial on Friday at noon in Ashland. We are also offering a simple lunch to enjoy. Let us know if you would like directions. It is wonderful to have a mentor to get started with this site, but once learned it is useful for other sites as well. A great communication tool.

Linda
How is school going so far this year? I've been very busy at Eagle Point High School. I mentioned to Jim that maybe we could all have a potluck picnic in the part sometime soon, just to connect and enjoy each other's company once again.
Nice to see you here. I hope to see you soon.
Love,
Michelle
